Faloria Mountain Spa Resort

My now wife and I spent 3 nights at the Faloria to get married in the Dolomites. As it was my first time to Italy, I had no idea what to expect. The drive up from Venice was incredible. When we arrived at the Faloria, we were a bit early for check in but they already had our room ready. My wife and I were greeted by a bottle of sparkling wine when we walked in. The bed was very comfortable and we ended up sleeping with the doors open to enjoy the fresh and cool mountain air. In the mornings, we often found ourselves relaxing in the lobby before sitting for breakfast. Massimo was there every morning to greet us with cappuccinos. He made sure we were well caffeinated for the day! Their breakfast was a lovely spread as well as a small menu to order from. I particularly enjoyed the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Our first night we ate in their in-house restaurant. Making a reservation was easy with the front desk. Service was fantastic and we left full. The next day, we spent some time down at the pool, hot tub, and steam room. My father in law received a massage that he said left him walking on clouds. When we returned from our wedding, the staff made sure to leave a bottle of sparkling wine for my wife and I to enjoy. It was accompanied by a hand written note from the General Manager, Daniele, congratulating us. I saw him there everyday we were there. He is very thoughtful and welcoming. In all, this stay was absolutely incredible and more than we could have imagined. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you to all the staff that helped make our wedding trip that much more special.

We had a wonderful stay! The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They even surprised us with a lovely gesture for my husband’s birthday, which made our stay extra special. A big thank you to Massimo, who greeted us every morning with his warm smile and kind spirit, he truly added a positive vibe to our days. Thank you all for making our experience so memorable.

Definitely expected much better service for a $2000/night hotel. One of their senior employees, named Mauro, gave us a hard time on numerous occasions (not wanting to give us the complimentary welcome drink, arguing with us over what a cafe latte was, not letting us bring the hotel’s own bottled water into the restaurant, and charging us for a few things we never bought). We also tried to order a few things via room service throughout our stay, and about 50% of what we would order never arrived. Location isn’t walking distance from the city centre but they do offer a free shuttle service which was great (it ends at 8pm just FYI). Hotel itself was beautiful :)
