Fame Beach Hotel

The rooms are a bit smaller than expected for the money you are paying. And the air conditioning is central and all the rooms air conditioning shuts down about 1 - 2 am in the morning when you are trying to sleep when it is close to 100 degrees f or 37c . We called several nights in a row in the middle of the night and the front desk said we will turn the air back on. Very disappointing when you are paying the higher end of money for resorts. They have a nice variety of food to choose from at meal times, for top shelf drinks beware there is an up charge. In addition because I am not Turkish they sent a memo to my room to come and meet with a travel coordinator to ensure I had my things in order to travel home, as if an individual who is at a resort does not have that already planned. I do not rate on the higher end because I have had the opportunity to stay at many high end hotels and resorts. I expect to get what I pay for, so it does not hurt to do some research before you select a location. This was a family trip so I did not have a choice.

Upon arrival and having booked weeks before and completing full payment, we were told that the hotel is full so our only option was to stay the first night in their other cheaper hotel that has no beach or restaurant and is of lower quality. We had to keep going back and forth to have access to the beach and food, and had to face the inconvenience of checking out the next day from their cheap hotel and checking back into this. They laughed us through some document with petty stuff for compensation which was in Turkish so we didn’t understand it. They stated they had a gym but there wasn’t any, food was mostly bland, nothing special. There was a bad smell most of the time in the lobby area. Rooms are super small. We did not enjoy our stay here and experience with them, not recommended at all !!
