Lovely hotel and family who take great care of their guests! High recommend for a quiet getaway with family or partner. Sauna facilities are an awesome perk. The half board will have your stomach stuffed to the brim, too.

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is overpriced and far from the city, with a steep, unsafe dirt road. The restaurant and room were full of flies, and the food was of poor quality with not much alternatives. The owner was extremely unfriendly, never smiled, and responded to complaints with no willingness to help but blaming the customer. No assistance is offered with luggage, which must be carried up two floors. There are better alternatives in the area with nicer owners and in the city , not isolatef – we recommend staying elsewhere

DO NOT EAT/STAY HERE. We came here to eat as a family, 2 adults, 2 kids. The waiter who greeted us at the table, right from the start was extremely rude and short with us. Since we’d only just sat down a few minutes ago, I can only assume that’s her usual manner. Several times other waiters brought food/drinks we didn’t order. The food we received was average at best. Which would have been acceptable if the service was up to scratch. When we received the bill the same waiter returned. Told us the price was 63euro, and tried to get us to pay quickly. I refused and said I wanted to see the bill first. She tried to rush through and “explain” which plates we ordered. I insisted on seeing the written bill before paying. Magically the bill was now only 56 euro. So not only was the waiter extremely rude, she was also trying to scam us. After which I went inside and asked to speak with the manager. Turns out that she is the manager too. I asked her several times why she was so rude to us without reason. I asked for her name so which she also refused. Arguably the worst experience we’ve had whilst on holidays in Austria. Avoid this place like the plague.
