Family & Sporthotel Kärntnerhof

We stayed at this family-friendly hotel in early January 2025 during our ski trip. The hotel is conveniently located close to the ski lift and offers all the necessary amenities for a comfortable family vacation in the mountains. We really enjoyed the food, especially the hot dishes at dinner, where there was always a delicious gourmet option. The rooms were cleaned regularly and to a high standard. The entire staff was very friendly and always ready to assist with any issues. At the end of our stay, my son and wife fell ill with a high fever. The receptionist, Martin, along with the hotel management, was very understanding and arranged an available room so that I could stay separately with my other son. This kind and thoughtful gesture was truly appreciated. I sincerely recommend this hotel and wish them continued success!

We are a family of 5, and our kids loved to stay in this hotel. It’s perfect for families that are starting skiing, because the ski school is 2m walking. It has all the facilities kids need to spend time after ski classes and they had 5 incredible days! The meals are perfect and adapted to kids and adults. The team in the hotel was super friendly. Everything went perfect!

The service is outrageously impolite and customer unfriendly, especially towards children. Our children (10 yo) were hungry, 2 hours to dinner so we bought them pizza. Waiter from the hotel tore out the knife from my hand (which I used to cut pizza), attacked me. Although hotel names itself as children friendly, they are obliged to sit quietly, the only thing the are allowed to do is breathe and walk directly to their rooms, of course in silence…
