Fancornio Rural

We had a fantastic stay. The property was lovely inside and out. Our dog Thor loved relaxing in the sun in the garden. Juan and Terri gave us great suggestions on where to eat, travel, beaches and festivals. Their suggestions turned out to be very positive experiences. We loved our stay and will return. Thank you for everything!

We had a great holiday at Fancornio. The hosts Terri and Juan made us really welcome and no faulting the accommodation. The Asturian Countryside is breathtaking and we were very close to beaches and seaside towns and villages. Loads to do for all ages, we especially enjoyed all the hiking and trying out the local food which I hasten to add is absolutely delicious. Highly recommendable and would definitely repeat, especially as I fell in love with one of the various animals at Fancornio.

My husband and I stayed at Fancornio Rural for 10 nights this fall. This is my absolute favorite place to stay on vacation. You are in a beautiful location of rolling hills and a short drive to the ocean. We had great communication with our hosts, Juan and Terri prior to our visit and during to accommodate any needs. Juan and Terri are very special human beings who made every moment of this trip warm, friendly and inviting. They will give you all the space you need to unwind and relax while also being available for any assistance required. The location of their beautiful property will put you close to everything you would want to do in Asturias, Spain and the list of things to do is incredible! If I spent a year in Asturias, I would not be able to do everything I wanted to do.  They made some wonderful suggestions of places to eat, where we could purchase any necessities and what sights are must-sees. The beauty of the property was amazing. It reminded me of rolling hills in Ireland, with ranches and farms connecting the villages. The home we stayed in was beautiful with everything we needed. There was a good deal of history explained on the property, the renovation and details made our stay more interesting. The farm-animals are there for your enjoyment and we did have fun watching and feeding them. I loved the old cowbells you would hear as the cows roamed freely around the hills. It was subtle and charming. Every view from each window is breathtaking.  The fresh air helps you sleep sound at night, the property is very quiet and the shutters will block out all light until you are ready to wake up. I loved opening the windows to the green hills every morning and having a cool breeze rush in. I will have happy dreams of Fancornio Rural and I will make sure that we come back to visit.
