FantasyWorld Resort

We had a great time this past long weekend. We were celebrating our wedding/mini honeymoon and our last summer trip with the kids. The rooms were very clean and very well kept. The only thing I will say is that it is a two-story condo, so plan to bring a baby gate as they do not provide one. The pool deck was awesome. We love that they did check for wristbands. So the whole deck was not packed with extra people, which was great. Splash pride, lazy river, 2 slides. The kids were entertained all weekend. Great arcade and lots of activities on the pool deck for the kids. Even the drinks were not badly priced. There is a $100 deposit that you have to give when you arrive. I did not read about that while booking, just be aware of it. It is returned when you check out as long as your room does not smell like smoke.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Fantasy World Resort for a Disney vacation with our kids. The first time, we were impressed by what they offer for the price (especially impressed by the townhouse setup for more privacy and the nice pool / water park). This time, there was even more to enjoy! More activities at the pool—and a GREAT view from our townhouse! (See photo.) We also like that it’s laid back. Everyone is friendly and helpful. But the best feedback I can give is the customer service we received last week: The king bed mattress was a bit saggy, which made my lower back pain flare up a bit the first night. So we requested a new mattress early the next morning. In less than an hour and a half, the staff had already coordinated a mattress check, replaced the mattress (which is upstairs by the way), and coordinated with housekeeping to re-make the bed. All of this while we were playing at the pool. We were so surprised when we got back! We’ll definitely be back again soon. I think they’ve earned our loyalty.

Our family stayed here for a week while visiting Orlando. The staff was absolutely fantastic! Everyone was so friendly. Anytime we needed anything, they were there to help. Mark at the front desk was particularly helpful and kind. The general manager was great and went out of his way to make sure our stay was everything we expected. The pool area is great, especially for kids. It’s a salt water pool which was a really nice surprise. The slides were a blast and the lazy river was so relaxing. Location is perfect. A quick Uber or take the resort shuttle to all major parks. Sad to leave!
