Faraway Martha's Vineyard

The service was great, especially at the pool area. I loved that the pool wasn’t overcrowded and servers were readily available and food and drinks came out quickly. The food was great too! And the location can’t be beat. My only suggestions would to put a water filling station on each floor of the hotel for easy refills and more storage in the room. The large credenza didn’t have any drawers for clothes. Thanks

We loved our stay at the Faraway. The location is so convenient in town. We walked to all the stores and restaurants. The lobby is beautiful and smells amazing. I purchased 3 candles it smelled so good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool is beautiful and the service at the pool is excellent. The servers are very attentive and friendly.

I don’t know where to start. I have never, in my 45 years of living and travelling in numerous countries have EVER had such a bad experience at a “hotel”. Just going to list the issues and you do what you want with it. Upon check in no hello. No help with suitcases. Get to the room and there are dust bunnies under the couch and pubes in the bathroom. When we leave for the day the room towels, water and glasses were never replaced. EVER. Not once unless we called. Once got bathrobes after not being replaced without the belts. Zero amenities so hope you don’t get hungry. One little jug of coffee is available only at 7am. Blasting trashy I went to Ibiza once and came back with this soundtrack in a loop felt like you were in a psych ward. Food was horrendous at the pelican bar with said soundtrack. Zero management. The staff are lovely but clearly whoever the tech bro is that runs faraway just hires anyone for minimum wage and refuses to train. The “pool” is a glorified hot tub with a dozen screaming children. Left after three days could not even stay the week we booked even though it was prepaid. Oh and after telling numerous people that work there (because who the hell knows where said manager is), no one even apologized because frankly I can tell they know this place is a dump. Regret all the money I spent on booze to mask the pain here.
