Farndale Den

We stayed in the Arches and had a fabulous time. The location is remote enough to escape from life but close enough to visit attractions and the coast of you want to. The open fire was lovely and the dogs loved curling up in an evening. Kitchen was well stocked with all the odds and ends we needed for cooking. The dishwasher made it so much easier. The views were great. Owner was on hand and was a really nice guy.

Stayed here for a week as a family of 4. Perfect location with pub just down the road. But also perfect to get to attractions. Cottage had all the home comforts, comfy beds, dishwasher, washing machine. We will be booking again for sure.

This is an extremely comfortable cottage with lots of ammenties. Lovely bathrooms and lots of comfy sofas, (at least four), If you don't mind being woken up to the sounds of the countryside its lovely. The sheep and lambs are very soothing, the peacocks are sublime, the chickens are a nice backdrop the calls of the bloody cockerills which are silenced by the excellent double glazing. The early morning views down the river Dove valley are worth paying for as they are quite blissfull. I liked this place very much, the owners are of the best Yorkshire type friendly and helpfull. For food try the Feversham Arms just a quarter mile back to the cross roads. The steak I had there would not have shamed a quality retau
