Our stay has been absolutely perfect! The hotel and location are so lovely but the staff is what really makes this resort stand out! The front desk team is phenomenal. The service at the Lighthouse restaurant is a 10/10! The team, especially Cece, went above and beyond to make this trip memorable for us and our baby!

The room was clean upon arrival, but we did not have room service for any of the three nights we stayed, despite having requested it. They did not provide enough towels for our family of five. It took us physically walking to the front desk to finally get enough towels because when we tried calling the front desk from our room, our phone was not connected. We called from the elevator lobby phone and they sent maintenance up, but we were told that the counter top was installed before the phone was connected and therefore nothing could be done about it. Cell service in the room was poor. What if we had an emergency? Common corridors were not air conditioned. They have a coin operated washer and dryer, but did not sell laundry detergent, even at the front desk. The location has a nice view. The pools were adequate.

Please read in its entirety before booking. I called ahead before check-in to request a crib for our room. When we arrived, there was no crib. I called the front desk, and although they said they’d send one right away, it took 2–3 hours because housekeeping went to the wrong room. The shower knob was completely broken and fell off. I reported it on Saturday morning, and the front desk said they’d send someone immediately. After waiting in the room for over an hour, we went out for a while, hoping it would be fixed. When we returned, nothing had been done — no repairs, no trash removed, and no fresh towels. When I called again, the front desk manager said they couldn’t enter because my service dog was in the room. I told him we were there now and could step out with the dog so repairs could be done, but even then no one came. Hours later, I called again and the front desk manager was rude, asking why I kept calling and saying he’d send someone (basically on his own time). When I asked to speak to his manager, he hung up on me. I called back multiple times and no one answered. My husband and I went to the front desk in person, where he gave me an unprofessional “it depends” when I asked if he was the one who hung up. The front desk manager should not be working in hospitality, let alone at a Hilton resort. His attitude and lack of professionalism ruined what should have been a pleasant stay. I asked to check out early and finally spoke to the actual hotel manager, who apologized and promised to make things right. Unfortunately, the damage to our experience was already done. This stay was supposed to be a celebration for my birthday, but it turned into a stressful, frustrating experience. For the high price, I expected much better service. I will not return and do not recommend this resort to anyone.
