We loved our stay at the Farol Hotel. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Our room (the twin room garden view) was clean and spacious. The hotel location is perfect, right at the edge of the town center and on the water. The pool and outdoor bar have gorgeous views of the ocean. There is a beautiful bike/walking path right by the hotel too.
We came with my friend for a drink. We had a great time, enjoying a beautiful view. The service was perfect and was carried out by Martim a young waiter and with the listening we do not regret at all to have been served by him! I recommend him.
I took this hotel looking at the pictures they have posted on the website link & on google. I didn't like as the reality is entirely different. The lighting in the place is very poor. Secondly, the washroom size of the most expensive room which was superior room for me was very small. It was very hard to take a shower, a person with a height over 5'10 inches would find hard to take shower. Also, you can easily listen to voice from another rooms. It was difficult for me to sleep in night as I could easily hear soemone snoring from another room. They need to work on their room design so that the prices could be justified. The staff at the reception was very welcoming but overall experience of stay was very bad. If you are spending good amount just for the view then it is worth referencing ither options.
