Fattoria Di Pancole

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 3 days of our honeymoon at Fattoria di Pancole. We arrived early after spending two nights in Florence, and Sandra was happy to welcome us. We were pleased to find manicured grounds with a large, immaculate second floor apartment with lovely views of the Tuscan countryside very near the historic village of San Gimignano. On our second day, we enjoyed a comprehensive tour of the family’s organic vineyard and a tasting with Lorenzo who takes great pride in his family tradition and dedication to excellence. His passion for the process shines in his work, and he took great interest in our experiences with each of the seven wines we tasted. We’re excited to arrive home and share a mixed case that we ordered. We are only halfway through our stay, and we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves. What a lovely family and place in the world.

We tried the wine tasting and it was delicious, we met Sandra and she told us the story of each wine, had a great time there! The place is beautiful and very clean. Thank you Sandra for the wonderful experience.

Stayed the first week of October 2017, we were on a family vacation of sorts, 11 of us in all, using five apartments. Each apartment had its own flavour, different views, slightly different amenities, all comfortable and roomy. Check in before 6:00pm, we were late and were able to communicate that and our key was picked up by another member of our group. Recommend getting there on time though, as each room is a little different and some orientation would have been helpful. We also participated in the wine tour (extra cost), was very informative and the wine tasting with Tuscan cheese, meats and breads was just lovely, Julia did a fantastic job looking after us. The views are breathtaking and we would recommend based on this feature alone but also friendly service as well as the proximity to other attractions gave us a wonderful experience.
