Fattoria La Pieve

Fattoria La Pieve is located in very beautiful and picturesque place on a top of the hill with olive gardens surrounding. Quite secluded area adds calmness and tranquility to this place, which can help escape the hustle and bustle of big cities. Although the nearest market is about 20 min drive, at the reception you can order fresh bread every day and buy essentials. On the premises there are a big swimming pool with jacuzzi and lots of tanning beds, restaurant, laundry room and a big covered parking. We were staying it La Pievania - beautifully transformed farmhouse. There were two bedrooms, each with own bathroom, big and spacious living room combined with kitchen, terrace with private jacuzzi, grill area and a part of the lawn with tanning beds. Kitchen is well equipped with microwave, induction stove, oven and dishwasher. There's also a lot of useful gadgets and two types of coffee machine - drip coffeemaker and traditional Italian mokka. In living room there is a big TV that can be connected to your personal Netflix. Wifi is available but the service is rather slow at the swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and ready to help with everything that you may need, from showing how things work around the premises to making a reservation in nearby restaurants. Our stay was incredible. We totally recommend La Pieve for your next relaxing vacation.

Fantastic place to rest and good regeneration. Place done with taste and rooms have everything you need, the pool was great. We appreciate the care of the service throughout the stay. Amazing views and beautiful sunset encourage us to return there often.

The highlight of this property was undoubtedly the amazing swimming pool. It was one of the best I have come across in Tuscany, offering a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the view of the surrounding hills was simply breathtaking, especially during sunset. The serene atmosphere and romantic ambiance made it a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The location of the property proved to be a significant inconvenience. It is situated quite far from everything, which meant that even a simple shopping trip took us around 90 minutes of driving (to the shop and back). If you're looking for a convenient location close to amenities and attractions, this might not be the best choice. Moreover, the hilly terrain made it difficult, especially for families with young children, to access the swimming pool or just doing a walks (basically no options for walks). It would be beneficial for the property to improve accessibility and provide alternative routes for guests with mobility limitations or families with strollers. Another issue we encountered was with the internet connection. While there was Wi-Fi available in the public areas, the connection was disappointing. It was not reliable enough to support a Zoom call, which was particularly frustrating. Even with my Italian SIM card, the mobile signal was severely limited, regardless of the operator. This posed a significant inconvenience, as staying connected and being able to communicate effectively is essential for many travelers. In summary, the property offered an amazing swimming pool, stunning views, and a romantic ambiance. However, the remote location, difficulty accessing amenities, and unreliable internet connection were notable drawbacks.
