This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the Castiglione Cosentino train station, and close to the University. The rooms are clean, the grounds are nice with a garden, pool, and library. They also have a delicious free breakfast of fresh pastries, bread, meat and cheese, fruit, juice and coffee. The hotel staff is also very kind. They treated me like a guest in their home, very warm and welcome!

We stayed at Fattoria Stocchi only for 1 night, travelling from Sicily to Rome. Room was simple but well equipped and very clean, staff very kind and helpfull. Location great Just aside the highway but in a spot full of silence. Seasonal swimmingpool very appreciated by my children. I will stay there again of needed for sure. Nice Restaurant la locanda a few steps away. Cosenza Is 15 minutes drive. Again, super thank you to the super staff!

Where should I start. 1. Noone speaks english (the only person who could phrase at least a few sentences had the night shift - logic where are you? However, he managed to insult me by suggesting I should leave the key at the reception so I don't lose it...he did that on my third day of stay. Given I havent lost it the previous two days, I was confident to maintain my trackrecord) 2. the food there is awful. Stick to the free breakfast but don't order anything for dinner. The pasta was tasteless and the tartufo was so hard I just took it up to my room and waited til it unfroze (and it was still tasteless) 3. so breakfast is included - it is not great but ok, but what annoyed me the most is that during breakfast the fruits are for free but when I took a pear outside of breakfast hours I was charged 2 euros for it on my final bill 4. also dont order coffee -it's cold! I tried by asking to preheat the cup but it was still only lukewarm absolutely not up to the usual italian standards. If I had been there for pleasure and my university not covering the expenses I would have not paid for the dinner (and the 2 euro pear...)
