We had a great time here! Very spacious room with its own kitchen, laundry and drying facilities. Maiko-san our host was amazing and so helpful, especially since we don't speak Japanese, we needed some help getting around. Thank you Maiko and Fav for the wonderful stay!
Our room was quite small and somewhat dated compared to other Fav Hotels. However it's a fine stay in central Takamatsu, close to the shopping mall and a train station. The staff were very friendly.
Staff are nice, but… 1. Soundproofing is not good. Although the hotel is not located in the main road. The road outside the hotel is a connection road to the main road. You will still hear the traffic noise even in 1 or 2am. Besides, I stayed on the Executive Room on 2/F. You can hear very clear flushing and drainage noise from upper rooms. I’m not sure whether this is the problem for my room only. 2. Although it is just around 5 mins walk from nearest train station, the town centre is on another side of train station. You need a 10-15 walks from the town centre (丸亀町). 3. Some long hairs were on the room floor. It appears from previous occupiers as I’m short hair. If issues 1 & 3 can be solved, the hotel would be very cozy and nice.
