Federico II Palace Hotel

A beautiful building in Italian countryside. Might be a bit old, however, service, amenities, and staff are very helpful and kind. The restaurant in the evening has limited menu, but again very good staff, kind and helpful. Has a spa and an indoor heated pool. Notice the pool is not allowed for children, however, they allowed our children to use the heated pool. Breakfast was good.

Lovely hotel located just outside Enna Bassa. Moderate spread for breakfast. Beautifully decorated rooms. Ample parking.

The hotel rooms are excellent and of good value. The issues are two fold: 1. Without forewarning, you are asked to buy a 3 Euro swim cap when you are at the pool. Why isn't this included in the cost of my reservation? 2. Though the included breakfast in the reservation is of good quality, do not make the mistake of having dinner at the restaurant. As a group of 7 guests, none of our appetizers, entrees, or desserts were anything beyond mediocre at best. To be honest, it was the worst meal of the 16 days we spent in Sicily.
