Slightly rundown, room cleanliness could be better, but the staff were very helpful.
All a bit odd. Great room. Great service. Place needs a make over and the rooftop is crazy, the rooftop bar is a corridor and there’s nothing up there in the day so take all your food and drink. The hotel coffee was awful but the breakfast was fine. Not worth the money we paid but it was okay. Alejandro on reception was brilliant and deserves special recognition booking us restaurants etc.
Despite being a 5 star hotel and marketed as having “rooftop pool” the rooftop pool has apparently been closed since covid. The rooms are dated, the food is average and the location is terrible. The one saving Grace is the staff, who are helpful, kind and efficient. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. In a response to the comment posted from the hotel, it was hotel staff that informed us that the pool had been closed since Covid, we didn’t assume.
