A lovely base for a two night anniversary break. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, the lodge suite we stayed in was peaceful (apart from lots of lovely birdsong) and very comfortable. The breakfast selection- especially the fruit - was superb and dinner also very good with local produce and generous portions. The only mild criticism is that you can’t book the gym until you arrive - which if it’s later in the day invariably means there are few if any slots so we missed out on it. Being able to book it when booking rooms would be great. Overall a fab experience and recommended.
Massive thank you to Feldon Valley. We came to celebrate my partners birthday and they made sure it was extra special. Even before we arrived the communication was really good, lots of emails with info and when I called to ask a couple of questions they were super helpful. Our dog is very nervous and can be quite vocal so always find it hard to go away with him but the staff (especially in the bar/restaurant area) went above and beyond to make sure we could eat our breakfast and tried to make us and our dog as comfortable as possible. I don’t often review somewhere but feldon valley was amazing and definitely worth the trip. Would highly recommend and I would definitely go back x
We decided to have a last minute get away, and we found Feldon lodges. We paid £300 for one of the lodges as it was your own lodge away from the hotel, as we paid extra for the dogs to stay with us and our new born baby we wanted to be out of everyone’s way and we were happy to pay the extra money for that reason, when we arrived the lodges aren’t on their own, which meant we heard absolutely everything from the lodge next door, their dog barked most of the night keeping our baby awake and distributing our dogs, it was an absolute nightmare and to pay £300 for no sleep was extremely disappointing, I spent half of the night trying to get my baby back to sleep. We didn’t feel that the room was 4 star standard either, the room was knocked around, scratches on the floor, dirty walls and knocks on the walls. We were gutted as we had really high expectations of this place and as our first little night away as a family of 3 wasn’t as we had hoped. Location was lovely, and breakfast was great.
