Felix River Kwai Resort

Really big rooms, very pretty gardens - good amenities at the hotel. The buildings are a little old but everything works and was clean - the resort has seen many good years of families enjoying time together, which is no bad thing. One of our tour group had an issue with their shower & staff came to fix it very promptly the same evening. I especially enjoyed walking around the grounds and spotting the rhinoceros fish, water monitor lizards and cute little geckos. Bring insect repellent - the price of beautiful water gardens & lilies is insect life!

I've been here for the first time when I was 12ish, but the hotel still in good shape in 2025!! The room has been upgraded. The television is a bit too small compare to the size of the room, but I don't think it is an important issue. The gym is not what gym rats expected. There are a casual swimming pool suits for family and a half-olympic swimming pool the other side of the hotel. Overall, this hotel is good for family relaxing. You can easily find good restaurants in 3km range from the hotel.

Beautiful resort with well maintained grounds that are lovely just to walk around. Room was clean and spacious overlooking the river with magnificent views. 2 pools are lovely and breakfast is very nice with plenty of options. Hotel is located a 7-10 min ride from main area so be prepared to either scooter or use local transport options. If you have scooter everything is easy to get to and close 7-11. All in all really lovely stay and very quiet.. except for Friday night... Performance across river was ridiculously loud and awful until 11pm.
