One of the most exclusive hotels in the center of Rome. They only have about 7 or 8 rooms. The hotel is located in the Fendi building with their boutique located on the first floor and Zuma on the top floor. I stayed in one of their largest room which is a corner suite. The room was spacious as well as beautiful. The air conditioning works great and the room was spotless. All furniture and decor are by Fendi. The furnishings and finishes are pure luxury. The hotel is extremely private and quiet with very little traffic. The hotel restaurant is shared with Zuma. Hotel restaurant offers breakfast and lunch. Dinner is at Zuma because they open only for dinner. Hotel guests get priority access to this fabulous restaurant which is usually very busy. During your stay as a guest you will be invited to the Fendi Maison to observe the magic behind the scenes. I recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was excellent, quiet and service was exceptional. Location is convenient and rooms were well decorated. The beddings were comfortable and we were happy staying there for almost a week. There were check-in gifts, and evening teas. All very pleasurable experiences. Except for on the last day of our stays, The laundry service was horrible, one of our newly bought sweaters came back with a fairly big hole (originally ornamented by a plastic circle plastic badge) and the receptionist was quite rude when explaining about why this happened, and telling us that the sweater was given to them already with the hole without any proofs.
The best thing is that the location is good for shopping. Besides that, the room is right under the hip restaurant, Zuma. If you want to have good sleep, please take deep consideration. Non stop foot steps when you want to fall asleep, and you will be awaken by the noise of moving table. I don’t feel any Fendi DnA or feature from this hotel at all. The outcome did not match my expectation. Sorry to say that. I do appreciate that the hotel offered a bottle of champagne because no bellboy at late night to help with the luggages.
