First of all the information: This hotel has no reception. All contact persons will communicate with you by e-mail or text message. But the concept works great! Immediately after booking, we received an email from the hotel with all the important information. And you don't need a reception either. Access to the parking lot is with a code (sent to you in advance by text message). The fee of $25/night is absolutely TOP for LA and this location! An elevator (also secured by code) takes you from the parking lot to the entrance area and the floors. Access to the apartment: digital door lock, of course - works perfectly. The apartment was clean, everything was cleaned. The kitchen with the huge fridge and stove and microwave are new and work perfectly. There is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. There are even 2x detergents. The apartments facing the inside are really very quiet. The ones on the street side are a bit louder, but hey...you're in the middle of LA on Hollywood Blvd. There is a pool which was really clean and is cleaned regularly. Up on the roof there is a barbecue area with lounge and even a community room. On the garage level you have a small gym with all the important equipment. Top location - 5 minutes walk to Hollywood Blvd. Safety - absolutely! Clean - yes. Communication with the operators - always available Recommended - definitely! We will be back! :-)
Very clean modern rooms. Knocked off a star because the parking situation is very annoying. You are only allowed to park in your slot otherwise your car will get towed. Problem isn't the hotel itself but the residents who decide to park anywhere they like, meaning your slot gets taken many times. The customer service on the other hand is exceptional. They replied to every query we had within a few mins no matter what time it was. Location is a minutes walk to the walk of fame and very central location to the "tourist" attractions LA has to offer.
We stayed for 4 nights in April 2025. Everything with the self check-in worked well, and the service team was responsive and helpful when we e-mailed them about housekeeping etc.. Strengths: Great location for Hollywood sightseeing etc.. Good clean room and small bathroom with washer/drier. We had a room with kitchenette with a huge sink, huge fridge/freezer, a microwave oven and a capsule coffeemaker. Cups and cutlery and nothing else. Some plates (which were provided upon request), a kettle, and a toaster would have been nice. Weakness: Noisy! Our room faced Franklin Ave which has heavy traffic all the time, also most of the night. The windows are single-layer glass and are not keeping much noise out, so we could hear essentially every car passing. In particular all the muscle cars and those with large stereos. We could also hear most of the works spoken in the corridors and every footstep of the person living upstairs. There is not much to do about this, but maybe this is not a good choice if you are noise sensitive.
