This place is great! Very comfy. Old meets new here. Very nicely renovated. Huge shower and a huge kitchen. The living room has probably the most comfortable couch I have seen. The people around are nice and conversational. The lady that rents out the place is nice and helpful. Much better than the other Ferienwohnung/house in the same village. I have to give it five stars.

It was very nice here! The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and accommodating. The peace and quiet was heavenly, and parking was convenient near the entrance. We were also able to do laundry. The bedrooms had been replaced with good beds, and the kitchen was nicely furnished. Significantly better and more convenient than the holiday home on the outskirts of town (towards Pobershau). Unfortunately, people are now living in the house next door, which is unpleasant. It detracts from our privacy. A shame!

We wanted to vacation here for the third time in September. The first two times were wonderful. But this time it was different. As soon as we entered the house we noticed the smell of cold cigarette smoke. Our previous tenants apparently smoked in the house. Even after airing it out for a long time, we couldn't get rid of the smell. The dishwasher had not been emptied and there was a lot of smelly leftover food in the sieve. The freezer had apparently been defrosted, but it was not clean and there was still about an inch of water at the bottom of the freezer. The floor on the ground floor wasn't cleaned either. Crumbs, dirt, dog hair were everywhere. So we didn't want to spend our vacation there; we had lost our desire to do so. Luckily we found a nice replacement at short notice. The landlady contacted us later and said that the cleaning lady was there again and cleaned. (I doubt she was even there before). But we didn't want to come back, especially since the problem of the smell of smoke couldn't be solved by cleaning. I also expect clean quarters from the start. We had paid everything in advance, but the landlady stopped responding to my messages. (Although she is proven to have read them on WhatsApp). I wish her a lot of fun with our money. We definitely won't be going there again.
