Ferienhaus Chemnitz

Despite other experiences with limehome, it was/is really good in Chemnitz. Clean, well maintained, well equipped and good location. Troublemakers at night in the top apartment disrupt the otherwise great impression. The night's rest was neither respected nor observed on Saturday evening. Between 2130 and 0430 there were regular loud shouts in the stairwell, running down and, to top it off, bottles being thrown onto the lower balconies. I assume that this remains an exception.

I was already at the Limehome in Zwickau and was very enthusiastic about the concept. I booked the Limehome on Hartmannstrasse in Chemnitz with corresponding expectations. Unfortunately, these were not fulfilled. The penthouse (attic apartment) you booked does not have an elevator, so you always have to go up or down 80 steps. Unfortunately, there is no information about this on the Limehome page. Despite the very dry heating air, silverfish are scurrying around in the apartment. There was still cutlery from the previous tenant in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, the couch in the living room is already very worn out, so you can't really sit or lie down. The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate induction, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. Capsules and tea bags are available for a few coffees and teas.

Mit Abstand leider das bisher schlechteste Lime Home. Selbst die Häuser in Berlin sind besser. Die Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße und in einer leider generell eher schlechteren Gegend, machen es nicht so sicher für kleine Kinder oder alleinreisende Frauen. Des Weiteren lies die Sauberkeit wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Mängel wurden schon direkt gemeldet. Auch innerhalb des Hauses sollten diverse Zugänge nicht für Gäste zur Verfügung stehen. Das Rauchverbot wird leider nicht eingehalten. Es gleicht eher einer Partyabsteige und ist komplett das Gegenteil vom sonstigen Niveau von Lime Home.
