Fern Grotto Inn

If you’re deciding where to book in Kauai-book here!!! Super clean. Lovely small touches really made a difference. We loved staying in Garden cottage with our views of the river, screened in porched and beautiful gardens all around. It was peaceful and quiet, and I could go on and on about how we utilized the snorkel gear, cooler, kayaks, etc. Also a good central location to get to both sides of the island. Having a kitchen was a really big deal for us as well with everything we needed. So grateful we stayed here!

We stayed in Coco C and absolutely loved everything about our time here! We chose to only spend 1 day at a resort during our time on Kauai (and the rest of the week at Fern Grotto) and we’re so glad we did :) We were out exploring most of the time anyway, but coming back here every night felt like having our own private oasis in this tropical paradise. All of the little details are what set this Inn apart from others and we loved having tons of free gear (snorkels, coolers, frozen water bottles, kayaks, beach chairs, etc.) available to us. It was also great to be able to do laundry for free whenever we needed. If we’re ever lucky enough to visit the island again, we will for sure be booking here again! We stayed here last year for our honeymoon and had the best time. The property is so beautiful and located next to a river with lots of kayaks and paddle boards you can use for free. We enjoyed picking fresh mangoes and star fruit on the property and using the bicycles to explore Kauai! I can’t wait to come back!
