Ferndale

Fantastic 7 night break with our hosts Michael and Debbie. Fern Cottage is just charming and the ideal location to explore Lynton and Lynmouth. We were very impressed with the value for money factor, which is very good for such a central location. The Cliff Top Railway is a 5 minute walk as is the high street. The Crown Hotel is a 1 minute walk, I can recommend the fish and chips and company. We'll definitely be coming back as soon as possible. Thank you very much Michael and Debbie.

Stayed in driftwood room. No mention of access difficulties (extremely steep moss covered un-lit pathway) into property. Rooms are well thought out lovely furniture but floor is unfinished and splitting in well walking areas. There wasn't enough loo roll for our stay 2 half rolls for a week for 2 adults! Plenty of tea and sugar but no coffee. Bedroom was massive lovely comfy bed with an amazing view of the Bristol channel. Wouldn't stay again only because of access problems. Xx

Pinky sunset is a view from the Seascape Apartment. Gorgeous scenery all year round. Pubs and Cafés very close. Local 'big' town is 30 minutes away. Great walks of varying mileage and gradation. Beautiful apartments but nothing out of the ordinary to make one go 'woah!' Very cosy and newly decorated. Shower is not powerful enough for someone with thick hair like me !! Xx
