The environment is pleasant and calm, with nice opportunities for walking and cycling. The proximity to Lake Kim is definitely a big advantage. The apartment could have been cleaned better - there was dust under the beds and bedside tables, and some dirt residue on the baking trays, pans and utensils. The sheets and towels were clean but had an unpleasant smell.
Our son (2 years old) really liked it! That first of all. We adults were disappointed. The yard appears unkempt and loveless. We were there shortly after the Corona closing time. After such a long closure, I would have expected a well-kept and clean garden (lots of pots, some broken and full of weeds) and, above all, clean rooms. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Partial dirt on the floor just swept into the corner, a smelly closet (what was in there the previous weeks? A dead mouse??? That would explain the smell). The blanket that was stored inside could not be used. After a complaint, it was taken away. We didn't get a new one. No tea towel, three small towels for three guests etc. Lots of toys in the playground. Feels like 80% of it is broken. Plastic parts that can no longer be identified, broken buckets, discarded pasta sieves. None of the (many) vehicles seemed to be in order. Red ants lived in a ketcar seat. The sandpit is filled more with rubble/building rubble, not sand. As I said, our son was thrilled, I just saw the risk of injury... We were unable to discover the agriculture advertised on the homepage. As far as I can tell, the ponies looked good and well fed and were nice to the children. We have already gone on holiday on the farm a few times and unfortunately this holiday was the worst. We were paying strangers who were annoying with our complaints. No welcome holiday guests.
The disposal is a real adventure! You have to open a large manhole cover with an iron bar. Dishes are being washed right next to it in a sink. In the mornings, small children meet there for pony rides, curious to see what's being dumped into the hole. "Holiday on the Farm" guests and camping guests mingle there, peppered with new COVID-19 campers...
