Our recent stay at the Feuerstein was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that set the tone for our entire trip. This hotel is truly a gem for families seeking a perfect getaway. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Each meal was a delightful experience, with a diverse menu that catered to both adults and kids. The antipasti choices were just unbelievable so many different options! And the desserts ohh, glorious! Different kid-friendly meals also available to order or pick up at the anipasti area! Entertainment for my daughter was another layer of excellence at Feuerstein. Every day offered a new array of activities, ensuring that she was entertained from dawn till dusk. From crafts and games to the mud room, the staff always had something exciting planned, allowing us to enjoy some well-deserved “parents only” time knowing my daughter was well looked after or together we had something special to do! The hotel’s effort to accommodate every family need truly impressed us. Whether it was a stroller, cot, baby camera, or nappies, they had it all covered! Their attention to detail made our stay incredibly convenient and stress-free, allowing us to focus on what mattered most – spending quality time together. What truly sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff. Every member of the team was not only accommodating but genuinely kind and cheerful. Their positive attitudes radiated warmth and made us feel right at home, further enhancing our holiday experience. Overall, Feuerstein exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the perfect destination for families looking to bond and create unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to return for another amazing adventure! Highly recommend!

Highlights: * The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful mountains * The hotel’s design is well done — despite its large size, the outside architecture creates a cozy feeling * Even though the restaurant is busy with kids, the noise level is very manageable thanks to smart zoning and soundproofing * The kids' entertainment and workshops options are diverse and enjoyable What could be better: * The buffet (breakfast, lunch, and dinner starters) lacked any food labels, which made it difficult to know what you were eating — a real challenge if you have dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free) or food allergies. * There is only one bar serving coffee and drinks across the entire hotel. Given the size of the property, it can be very challenging — especially if you’re in areas like the “Spielscheune” (play barn), where no drinks or snacks are available * no poolside drinks or snacks (maybe a vending machine could help?) * the quality of the coffee at the restaurant could be improved * it would be nice to have hair conditioner in the rooms Overall, we had a lovely stay, but a few improvements could make the experience even better

This experience is based on our winter holiday with 2 kids, aged 9 months and 2,5 years. What we liked: - Scenery location, in a quite snow secure valley! - Delicious food: we especially enjoyed the 5 course menu every evening. The chief cook just received a green Michelin star! - Kids attractions: they are one of a kind and very special/unique compared to other family hotels we have been. - The parent-kids time concept: they offer special activities for parents WITH kids. And this is why we go to family hotels. To spend time WITH our kids, not giving them to the daycare. - The newly created kids club room for kids 0-4! Just woooooow! Our son wanted to go there all the time (with us 😉). - You could really rent nearly EVERYTHING there. Whatever we asked for: they had it! Well thought through! - They tried to fulfill every wish. What we didn’t like: - The baby food: they had a little corner with VERY limited self maid baby food to go. Everything else could be ordered. Although we ordered the same every time, what we got was a surprise. And it sometimes lasted quite long and babies don’t like to wait ;-) Plus, the baby bar wasn’t accessible when the restaurant was closed. Next time, I would bring my own (and plastic spoons - they are plastic free hotel). - Massive language barrier at the restaurant (except for dinner). I don’t expect them to speak German, but even English was a problem sometimes. - The location is on the shadow side of the valley. This means lots of snow which is great, but also no direct sun in the winter months. - A normal indoor playground for our kids’ age was only on the other side of the hotel - walking distance 5 min., or with a toddler 15 min. 🤪 For a quick play break, this was too long. - The opening hours of the restaurant: Lunch started at 12:30, dinner at 18:30. Our kids started getting hungry at 11:30 and 17:30 🙈
