Fiesta Americana San Luis Potosi

This well appointed hotel is great for the business traveler. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The service is helpful and English is an option. While we didn’t eat at the steakhouse we did eat and drink at the main hotel restaurant and enjoyed the food. The tequila listings also extensive for a hotel. You can also walk outside your hotel with 15 different restraints or bars a stones throw away. I came here for business and they had a large business center with attentive staff and clean rooms. We had no issues with utilizing the equipment, but if we did there were staff just down the hall to help. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for someone visiting the area.

The Fiesta Americana in San Luis Potosí is a beautiful, luxurious new hotel in the area with many amenities, great for business or pleasure trips. The location is superb, right next to the beautiful Tangamanga Park with a view of the lake from one side of the hotel and a great view of the city from the other. They have a wonderful Canarias restaurant on the second floor, and it is connected to the Citadella Mall which has several other eateries, including an Argentinian restaurant, Toks, Pizza, a Krispy Kreme donut shop as well as several shops, a movie theater, gymnasium, ice skating rink, and casino. You can also walk easily to the Sam's Club and Walmart which are next to the mall. So the walkability is awesome. You can also use the pedestrian bridge to go to the Sanborn's and shopping center across the avenue. The hotel is about a 30 minute drive to the SLP Airport with both national and international flights. If you ask, the front desk will arrange a shuttle. Uber also has service within the city. The hotel security is very good. They have underground parking (valet service available), but you need a room key to access the floors with the hotel rooms. The hotel is decorated beautifully, is clean, well maintained, and the service was exceptional. The employees were professional, helpful and friendly. There is a sign to put out with your used towels if you don't want them changed, otherwise they will change them out for fresh towels when they do the cleaning service. They did my room every day I did not put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. My room was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of pillows (down feather), great linens, reading lights on the headboard, blackout curtains, plenty of electrical outlets, and was equipped with a rain shower, ironing board and iron, coffee maker (single cup), lighted closet with a safe for valuables, good drawers for what you need to stow, a lighted vanity mirror in the sink area, plenty of thirsty towels, AC and heat, and, of course, a large screen TV, and free WiFi. While I did not use them, there is also a bar/lounge, a rooftop terrace, swimming pool, and well-equipped exercise room. Note: There is a charge for the parking if you use your own car. I really enjoyed my stay and think you will also.

I was hanging out with my partner in the tiny waiting area that's where the bathrooms are and the movie theater is. We were hanging out late during closing hours and my shoes got wet from all the rain so I took them off so they could dry off, I was chatting with my partner when a worker came out and told me to put the shoes back on because of the "hygiene policy" that they have that they don't want me to "make anyone sick" ITS CLOSING HOURS, THERE'S NO ONE AROUND,MY SHOES AND SOCKS ARE DRIPPING WET AND HE WANTED ME TO PUT THEM ON? YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. No consideration for my health at all. It has been raining all week, you would think workers would be more considerate especially when there was nobody around us. I give this place zero stars due to lack of consideration for its clients. FYI it was 12am literally no one was around.
