Fiesta Inn & Loft Ciudad Del Carmen

Good hotel, clean, quiet and comfortable. Rooms are rather small and king size bed doesn’t appear to be as big as normal king size, but that might just be my appreciation. Breakfast was included in my reservation and it’s very decent: coffee, fruit, juice and a 4 or 5 different dishes to choose from. It also has a gym, small but gets the job done. They just need to have towels handy, wrapped up in plastic like other hotels. The pool is nice, on the top floor. The view is not exactly the best. In fact our side was very ugly, and the other side was just a little less ugly. But most people go to Ciudad del Carmen for work so I’m sure the hotel view wont be an issue. I would definitely stay there again.

Horrible! 1 disaster after the next. We booked a room with balcony but they said none are available. Whats the point of reserving?? My sweetie smokes a lot so she had to constantly go to the rooftop. We ordered room service, took over an hour & they didn't have 90% of what we ordered but only told us about some of it 45 minutes after we ordered (they had told us our order will be ready in 30 mins). No wine, no lime, no lemon, no pasta, no tortillas, no cochinita, no esquites, no bbq sauce etc. Cleaning lady knocked and came in at 8h30 and woke us up (accident, wrong room) Set the AC to 21°c last night, woke up freezing to 17°c We are checking out in a few hours, hopefully nothing else happens Update: spoke with manager and she was very kind and surprised by our experience. If we would've stayed another night she would've made sure our experience improved

This hotel does not comply with national standards for sanitizing the rooms. First room we were given was dirty as hairs, dirt etc. was left around the room. Also the shower head was detached from the fixture. After making a complain we were showed another room and also this room was not properly cleaned nor sanitized. Also very poor maintenance done in this property. After asking to speak with a manager a sales representative was send up to the room whom we showed all problems pointed out and explained that we no longer feel comfortable staying in this hotel, we now are disputing a 1 night room charge since the hotel does not want to refund it. Please DO NOT STAY in this property, they are not up to standard in regards to sanitizing procedures, the photos speak for themselves. I would not even rate it 1 star but unfortunately it is the minimum to rate.
