Fiesta Inn Mérida Altabrisa

Great hotel! We had a suite and the room was nice , spacious and clean. The service is incredible! From people who work at lobby reception, to a wonderful cleaning lady and staff at the restaurant! Everyone is amazing!

We stayed here for over a week, let me start with the pros, we had a room with a living room connected room, it was decadent to have two bathrooms. Room service was good. The location is not great for those wanting to be down town but it is amazing to have a mall on the ground floor! How convenient to have a Walmart downstairs! Nice business area and lobby and good to have a gym there. Now onto the not great, the desk service, they were quite unfriendly at check in and checkout, even on the day when the power went out, not a word to the guests. The pool was not open but they didn’t seem too big. Now a warning, Merida can be super humid and you can smell damp quite easily, which we did in the room, the rooms had no windows and that was a bit bothersome. Last but not least, we were high up in the building but still the street noise is quite loud, especially from the restaurants in the mall

Convenient hotel that met our needs. We stayed there for business purposes and it was a short walk to where we needed to go. Hotel is attached to a mini mall that has a Starbucks, TGI Fridays, and a Walmart attached to it. Ice cream shops also located in the strip mall. A larger mall is within walking distance. Room was clean and spacious. It had a mini-fridge which was convenient. No microwave which would have been nice. Lights and AC only worked when a room card was placed into a device mounted near the door. Hot air hit us like opening an oven when we first arrived. Took some time to get to a comfortable temperature. We ate breakfast at the little hotel restaurant attached to the lobby. It is an extra fee. Food was good. Every employee we interacted with was very polite and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience and we’d stay there again.
