Fiesta Inn Queretaro

Good. The room and building are not in perfect repair, but everything was clean and orderly. (If it bothers you to see some gaps in the laminate flooring -- keep looking.) They have really nice grounds around the pool (didn't swim) and even the parking area. There was a super-helpful bellhop who helped us with our luggage. Also, I had use for the computer area, which was very convenient. We were traveling with our Pomeranian, who we picked up from a visit to her breeder's kennel and did not want to risk leaving in the car overnight. Originally, I scheduled a "dog friendly" loft/suite but somehow it didn't register at check-in. So, we had to rebook through Booking, and the new room was a twin suite very near the door out to the pool yard. Since we waited a long time for our room, the manager waived the pet fee, which was very nice. We opted to eat breakfast at IHOP nearby, so can't comment on the restaurant. If you're not familiar with the area, you'll need to use a navegator to figure out the one-way access and U-turns to return to the freeway. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, once we got checked in.

The place was really nice, the room was clean and good, the pool had a nice temperature... the only thing I didn't like that much was the food. Me, as a vegetarian, it was kind of hard to find choices for me, and the prices were a little bit high. Although it's my decision to be vegetarian so they have nothing to do with this. The employees were kind and polite.

For a hotel of this price range it fell short in some areas. First of all were the towels. I've had nicer towels at hotels that cost 1/3 of the price. Next, they didn't want to provide us with more than 600ml of drinking water a day. Finally the vegetation around the pool is lovely, but it means the pool was full of these and they didn't skim it frequently enough.
