UPDATE: Been here a few days now. Lowered the star rating. We never know if we're going to get towels or not. They take yesterdays but don't replace them (why take them??? I can use them more than once). The phone in the room works only intermittently (so we cant call for any towels - we have to go down to reception). Coffee is never topped up (one sachet on arrival only). No air con in the gym (and it's pretty hot in there). I've taken some photos of the bathroom, which needs a thorough clean and uploaded them here. Tired old hotel. My room needs a little love, new sofa and chair. I reserved but didn't get a room with a balcony. The hotel shouldn't allow more bookings for rooms with balconies than they actually have. This is only my first night, I'll update as my stay progresses and decide whether to complain.

Upon check in, we were asked if we wanted to register for our free breakfast that was available to us so naturally we agreed. It ended up being a time share pitch where they wanted to speak with us for an hour and a half about buying in. The gentleman was very nice and sincere but the whole process was misleading. I’m on vacation and did not want to be bothered with a time share scam. Well I’m glad I didn’t agree to it because when I entered the room I was very disappointed. The room I did book said specifically that I would get a balcony and an ocean view. Of which I had neither. Although the room was spacious and comfortable I did not get what I booked and paid for. When I called the front desk to see about getting another room with an ocean view and balcony they said they did not have any available. I mentioned that we paid for it and this young lady literally said that it is how they get customers in to the hotel, by offering those amenities. I have already contacted my credit card company regarding the matter. Please beware of this hotel. They are not fulfilling people’s reservations as they are booking them. And also falsely advertising their rooms.
