Fili Hotel Nustar Cebu delivers a luxurious experience with exceptional Filipino hospitality. I rave about the elegant, super spacious rooms, and the impeccable cleanliness. The staff are consistently praised for their warm, attentive service. Dining is a delight, particularly the breakfast buffet in the 4F with its wide array of delicious, high-quality dishes. The hotel's modern amenities, including stunning pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center, ensure a memorable and comfortable stay. Fili Hotel is a top choice for those seeking a world-class hotel experience in Cebu. Plus, it is connected to a luxury mall!
This is a wonderful, classy hotel with an abundance of amenities. The sea view room has a great aspect and was a good size. The public areas, restaurants and casino were kitted out luxuriously. I appreciated that the bars and restaurants were good value for the class of hotel, it was great having the mall and food hall integrated with the hotel also. The spa service was top notch, the gym was very well kitted out and the infinity pool was peaceful with a great view. There were however a couple of areas that caused this not to be a perfect stay. Firstly half of the infinity pool was closed during our stay, the remaining area was smaller than you would expect from the published photos. The main pool area was huge, however due to building work of a new adjacent hotel the views of cranes were a put off and the building noise made this area not useable by us, we wanted relaxation. Also there were a number of service quality inconsistencies, albeit all were minor, but combined they frustrated us during the stay. I am more than happy to share the details with the hotel if they provide me their contact details. I would certainly recommend this hotel but please be aware of how the building work may impact you if you want to use the pool areas.
I emailed guest services 4 times before arrival. A total miscommunication. Paid for executive suite with lounge access. Waited 30 minutes at the front desk to be told we were in the wrong place to check in. No information was provided about lounge times. We were told to leave the lounge because they had to set up for dinner. We ordered in the room and went to the casino floor. They wanted passports, and our Filipino IDs were not valid, even though we were told in an email they would be fine? So, we were unable to enjoy the casino. We didn't make reservations to the restaurants and were told there would be a 45-minute wait since no tables were open. The shops have clothing for tiny people. If you're over 5' 6" or 170 cm, good luck finding anything that fits. It's a complete disaster no matter how much you plan ahead.
