Our stay at Finca La Majadera was perfect. I work in a 4 star hotel as a housekeeper, and el peral was looked after as if it is a star hotel. With great care and details. 5 stars for Jose, Carla and the cleaning lady. The garden was extremely well maintained. You don't even have to leave the house because of the beautifully landscaped garden and the fairytale view. The location is very quiet and private, away from all the tourism. Jose was an excellent host. He really took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. The cats were very sweet and came by every day. We had rented a car, and that is recommendable.
We enjoyed a 2 week vacation in this beautiful finca. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa, La Higuera. It’s surrounded by fruit trees, beautiful monstera and strelitzia plants. 2 friendly cats came to visit us daily. The pool is awesome, with a great view. Be sure to rent a car because it’s not advised to walk from the bus. Very steep climb to the main road.
Definitely a very good and cosy stay! You feel the house has history with well placed memorabilia of old times. Everything is well organised. There is a TV with chromecast and wifi for the colder winterdays. Outside there is a BBQ and a dinnertabel under a roof. There is a nice garden with lemon and an orangetree. The pool and pool area are superclean and it is private! In short very lovely stay!
