Finest Punta Cana by The Excellence Collection All Inclusive

One of the nicest resorts I have stayed at in DR in the last 3 years out of 4 resorts. Very modern and updated. Gorgeous rooms. Spa hydrotherapy was amazing. A variety of food that was delicious. I would definitely go back and 100% recommend!

We so enjoyed our stay at the finest in Punta Cana. We've been there now twice and would certainly go again. This is the perfect resort if you're a family with small children. We consistently felt pampered by the Oasis bar team. Ramon made delicious drinks and was always available for a good recommendation. Juan Carlos and Cassandra gave terrific service and even cut the coconut meat out of my coconut shell to make a delicious treat. Our morning coffees prepared by Joanna and Amber were delicious. You'll have to try the after 8:00 specialty coffee. At night their ice cream was delicious! The evening service of the restaurants was second to none. Our servers, Bryan, Edward, and Francesca were kind and very attentive. They even made a special cake for my daughter's birthday and brought the whole crew out to sing. What a treat! Thank you, Finest team, for a vacation to remember.

We recently stayed at Finest Punta Cana and overall had a great experience. The resort was only about 40% full during our visit, which made it feel very empty at times. While this meant plenty of space and privacy, we felt they could improve the atmosphere by playing more music at the pool and offering more activities on the adults-only side. This resort is definitely KID-friendly, great for families. The restaurants were generally excellent—special mention to the tomahawk steak, which was absolutely delicious, and the daily free coconuts were a fun touch. However, we weren’t impressed with the Mexican restaurant or the Melting Pot. The Excellence Club upgrade was definitely worth it for the extra perks, and our rooftop suite with the plunge pool was fantastic. The bed was so comfortable, we slept better than at home! The spa was amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. The entertainment team had great personalities and made activities fun, but we actually found ourselves visiting Excellence El Carmen one day to join their more active pool scene and enjoy their activities. The beach unfortunately had a lot of seaweed during our stay, making it unsuitable for swimming. While that’s out of the hotel’s control, it did limit our beach time. Still, the service, food (in most restaurants), and overall atmosphere made this a memorable trip. With a little more energy and variety in the adult section, this resort could easily be a five-star experience. The gym is 5/5!!!
