FirstName Bordeaux part of JdV by Hyatt

Great Hotel for a visit. We enjoyed our stay and will surely come back. The location was perfect for us, very near the train coming from the airport, close enough to the centre to walk there but still quiet enough. Dinner was delicious and big enough portions, breakfast wasn't huge but delicious and fresh and honestly enough to choose from. We love the concept: Environmently friendly. Instead of mini bars there is a kitchen available with free lemonade and fruit (and a fridge to use for your own food). We loved the wooden and natural gym. Our room was beautiful and for our needs perfect in size and Equipment. A few things to improve: *The screen in the gym didn't work so we couldn't track the weight exactly *You couldn't completely turn of the TV, so even behind the sliding doors was always a glimmer *The light in the entry way of our room was very dark, usually not a problem but the only big mirror is there

The staff and service (Hotel Manager Nicola and team) were outstanding. Due to a power cut by construction workers (nothing to do with First Name) the hotel had to be evacuated for one night. They dealt with this very professionally, offered us a free night and upgraded us. The staff were fantastic. We stayed in rooms 421 and 404 and they were stylish, super clean and lovely to be in. The hotel is in a fantastic location too / where all the sights of Bordeaux are easy to walk to. We loved Bordeaux and will be back next year and will definitely stay again. Bravo First Name team !

Stayed here a few nights while in Bordeaux. Phenomenal hotel in a great location. The staff is friendly, attentive, and speak English. Nicola at the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. If you’re staying in Bordeaux this is the hotel to stay at. Already looking forward to my next trip to Bordeaux and staying here.
