From the moment we arrived at Ko Samui airport, we were welcomed with warm smiles by Fisherman’s Village Waterbay Hotel owner and a truly family-friendly atmosphere at this renowned resort. Nestled just steps away from the beautiful Bo Phut Beach, this cozy gem offers stunning sun-kissed views from the villas and a peaceful flower-filled garden surrounding the pool — perfect for a quiet moment with a book or an afternoon nap. One of the highlights of our stay was the BBQ night, hosted by the hotel owner himself! It wasn’t just any dinner — we were treated to a magical evening featuring one of his special guests: an incredibly talented opera singer whose performance under the stars made the night unforgettable. Each morning began with a delicious personal breakfast prepared by the in-house chef, while our rooms were refreshed and tidied. It’s those thoughtful little touches that made us feel right at home. And the location? Couldn’t be better. Just a one-minute walk takes you straight into the heart of Fisherman’s Village, where you can explore vibrant markets, pick up stylish beachwear and souvenirs, or indulge in a wide variety of fantastic local and international cuisine. Our days were filled with fun beach activities, and the nights came alive with live music and dazzling fire shows right by the water. Whether you're here for relaxation or a little adventure, this hotel offers the best of both worlds. We left with full hearts, sun-kissed skin, and memories to last a lifetime. Second time we stayed here, it’s a great location and pool is lovely, however the rooms curtains are torn and mouldy. The staff didnt give us clean towels or water for 3 days and when I complained about the sewer smell in the toilet they just sprayed it with room freshener , the owner couldn’t care less whether we were there or not and not even a goodbye when we left even though he was right next to us . It was a shame as it could be so much better
