Fisherman's Haunt Hotel

We stayed over for the weekend and had a great time. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was clean, nicely decorated and super comfy. The fan and ironing board came in handy. No hairdryer, but the tea, coffee, and oat biscuits were a nice touch. The room was a bit dark, but it added to the cosy vibe of the Fisherman’s Haunt for us. We missed Sunday dinner after a longer walk than planned, but had a lovely meal Saturday night – highly recommend the Fisherman’s Pie! Would stay again 😁

We had a very early flight from Bournemouth airport so decided to stay the night before and have dinner as the pub is a very short drive to the airport. Our room was in the building next to the pub and was spacious, very nicely decorated and comfortable with a nice bathroom and very good shower - well above average for a relatively inexpensive pub room. We ate in the pub and chatted with the South African owner who was very hospitable, food and service were both excellent. Pub is really nice with lovely gardens front and back. Overall an excellent experience. P.S - The owner discovered that we were parking at the airport and mentioned that he does let parking spaces there for people who are flying and his rates are a lot less than the airports

Booked for Sunday lunch and the food was great, really well presented and tasted as good as looked. My only complaint would be when I asked if I could buy extra roast potatoes I was informed I couldn’t because they had only enough for the amount of roasts they would be serving! Was told I couldn’t but I had to order another whole roosts which I obviously didn’t want, surly you could cook more as the day progresses like any other restaurant? Other than that I would highly recommend.
