Fitzpatrick Grand Central

This was one of our very few trips to NYC, and I chose the Fitzpatrick due to proximity to grand central and public transport. We had a horrible experience with our flight getting there and arrived very early in the morning. To our surprise and delight, they were able to check us into the room early. It really changed the mood from just having lost heaps of time and money from a flight cancellation. Thank you Chloe and Dacia. The rooms were spacious for the area, location was exactly as expected by Grand Central. It was nice to have a cute bar on premise, the employees were all incredibly kind, and the hotel felt safe and comfortable. We will definitely stay exactly here again on our next visit (but will probably never book with JetBlue again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were quiet, dark and cold. Everyone was very friendly. The pub inside is great, especially the outdoor space. It's a great location, and there are cabs lined up right across the street at grand central. No complaints, would definitely recommend and we'll plan to stay here again!

The room was dirty and had an overwhelming mold smell that worsened whenever the AC was on. The AC was also incredibly loud. The AC stopped working multiple times at night and maintenance had to be called to fix the issue. This was during a heat wave so it made the room very unpleasant. I ended up being moved to a new room the third night of my stay due to the constant AC issues. I was also near the stairs and frequently heard the door slam loudly at all hours. Also, never received the final bill which was specifically requested and promised at checkout. Would not recommend this hotel.
