Classy and convenient. This was my first time staying at the Fitzpatrick, but it won’t be my last. The period decor is a nice break from the modern stylings of New York’s newer hotels. The room was large (also a big deal for New York). Everything was clean and in working condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay.
Just departed back to Ireland after wonderful 5star stay at Fitxpatrick Hotel Manhattan New York. From our arrival we were met by very accomdating and friendly staff. Hotel room/suite for 2 adults and 2 teenage girls was top class. Room was very clean and well presented with oceans of room for all, including wi-fi! Beds were very comfortable and even tough in heart of manhattan you do not hear a sound at night..giving us a great night sleep each night. Room staff cared for our every need and were excellent. We had breakfast two mornings which was first class with plenty of variety for a hungry Irish Family!!! Also had dinner in the evening which was also fabulous. Met with GM Chris O Sullivan who made our stay very welcome. Fitzpatrick Hotel is an amazing place were you share a breakfast room with Jim Sheridan and an elevator with Brendan Courtney, unreal experiences. Thanks to all at Fitzpatricks for a trip that will last long in our memories.
Location was great, close to MTA. Workers all went out of their way to provide excellent service. Things like washing out my coffee mug each day(I brought my own) offering to hold our luggage, offering us a room while we waited for an evening flight, lemonade in the lobby. Just great service overall. The room itself was super clean and comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that our room was on the inside of the hotel, and our view out our window was basically a brick wall and a rusty AC unit....but even that wasn't too bad because no light came in in the morning, which made it easy to sleep in!
