We stayed at the Flamingo Hotel for 5 nights. The room was luxurious (we took a large room), the staff was courteous, the breakfasts and dinners were just fine, the pool was great for the morning hours (afternoon we went to the beach), the sea, shops and promenade are within walking distance and the children's entertainment team did a good job. We will definitely come back here.
1. The house keeping is very bad. Had to call them every day to refill coffee and tea. Cleaning was not good. Constantly not well washed cups, room was not vacuumed even once 2. Parking was not included as appeared on reservation. You park outside for 10-20lv per day
Flamingo Grand – 5-star label, 2-star reality (if we’re being generous) Flamingo Grand sells itself as a 5-star experience. In reality, it delivers little more than disappointment… with a side of rancid oil and some DIY cleaning. Let’s start with the room: the toilet smelled like a neglected public restroom. After three cleaning requests with no improvement, I ended up scrubbing it myself using store-bought disinfectant. Glamorous, isn’t it? The dining area wasn’t much better. Plates were greasy on the underside, cups had coffee stains, and the glasses… well, let’s just say I stuck to bottled water. Even the cocktails from the bar were a disaster — chaotic, unbalanced, and flavor-wise, closer to a chemistry accident than a drink. I’ve had better drinks at awkward family gatherings. The fitness room? A sad little space with two cheap treadmills (the kind you’d buy for your garage, then regret), a few random dumbbells, and not much else. If two people entered, it already felt overcrowded. No air circulation, no proper equipment, no excuse. Add to that the lobby, which felt like a waiting room with aspirations — no music, no ambiance, just awkward silence and the scent of missed potential. Only the bed linens and towels were decently clean. For everything else, cleanliness seemed like an optional feature. The sun lounger cushions were stained and unpleasant, and the spa towels smelled like rancid massage oil. Romantic, right? The cherry on top? A glowing 9.2 on Booking, which leaves me deeply confused. Are guests reviewing the weather? The sea? Or have we all agreed to just lower our expectations? If you enjoy playing „guess what that smell is” and don’t mind paying premium prices for bottom-tier service, Flamingo might be your thing. Otherwise — you deserve better. Much better.
