They could have done a better job at maintenance. We came at a low season, however, it’s not an excuse to not cleaning up and updating their facilities. Most of the common area are a wreck. The room is nice but other than that, there’s basically nothing to do. I would not come back!

We stayed here as a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) and were extremely disappointed with the experience. This resort is not at all what it claims to be. On arrival, there was no welcome drink, no air conditioning or fans in the foyer, and no information provided about the facilities. We were not given a map or any details about what was open or closed. We had to explore on our own, only to find most bars and cafes shut by 2.30pm. It appeared that certain bars and venues were only open at specific times, but none of this was communicated, so we had no idea when or where anything was operating. The main restaurant, which serves breakfast, was the only positive aspect of our stay. There was a decent range of Asian and Western breakfast options, but coffee was below average and would have been improved with a proper espresso machine. The menu for lunch and dinner was very limited, and the food we tried earlier in the day was not enjoyable. We chose not to eat dinner at the resort and instead took a Grab into the nearby village, where the food options were far better. The whole resort felt like a ghost town during the day. Everything is dated, neglected, and in need of repair. Staff seemed disengaged and unhappy. The gym was rundown and uninviting. The pool looked clean on the surface, but the wooden decking around it was badly damaged and dangerous. It seemed that most guests were part of organised tours or golf groups who left early after breakfast. During the day, there was nothing happening and no atmosphere. On our first night, we were kept awake by loud banging noises that went on through the night. We tried to report this but got no response. Even worse, someone entered our room without knocking, which left us feeling unsafe. We contacted both the hotel and Booking.com to request a refund for the second night, but received no reply. As we were leaving early the next day for a train to Da Nang and didn’t feel confident we’d get a refund, we decided to stay the night, reluctantly. The only real highlight was the beach and the nearby village, although the strong winds meant we couldn't enjoy them much either. With proper management and some investment, this could be a great resort. But as it stands, the facilities are run down, poorly maintained, and not worth the high price. If you’re looking for a quality resort experience, we strongly recommend staying elsewhere. We’ve had far better stays at guesthouses and budget hotels throughout Vietnam and South-East Asia for a fraction of the cost.

We are a family of 4 staying in a beautiful villa here at FLC… “luxury resort”. Weather sucks but we anticipated this and didn’t mind because of what the resort said it offered… well it’s a ghost town here. Total waste of a holiday, currently looking at getting a refund and leaving this joint. Don’t book here. Beach is blocked off, small pools are closed in the general area. One pool is empty. Walkways are covered in sand, there are NO clean towels, in fact they are all dirty in the bin. The deck around the pool is dangerous for kids or elders, tons of holes. Kids club is a tv room basically. There’s no colada lounge… no furniture outside. It’s crazy that we’re are any good reviews at all.
