Fletcher Boutique Hotel De Mallejan

The service was great! We stayed 2 nights. The first morning I had to leave early for a work appointment, but this was no problem, the staff made me a special breakfast package to go at 7:30 AM. All corona regulations were followed, and the rooms were old yet charming. The Fletcher burger was DELICIOUS. I ate it two nights in a row 🙈 The location is very special. In the middle of the woods so you literally walk out your door into nature. Would definitely recommend this place!

This hotel lies in a lovely environment of the Veluwe. Woods right across the street and beyond that the wild landscape of the Veluwe. The hotel itself may have a four star service but it lacks the four star service I would expect in the rooms. They are simple and old but not dirty. What I disliked very much was what should've been a two person bed but was actually just two singles side by side. 🙄

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected based on the booking platform’s description. The room I received did not match what was advertised. While I understand this might be partly due to the booking platform, the hotel staff showed no understanding or willingness to help resolve the issue. The room itself was poorly maintained. It seemed as if the renovations had been rushed or left unfinished—there were missing moldings and an overall lack of attention to detail. It gave the impression that the carpenters had left early for the weekend. My room was located directly opposite the elevator, which meant I was disturbed by loud noises early in the morning. I had booked what was described as a lovely room with a double bed, but instead, I got what felt more like a student room with two single beds pushed together, and no proper mattress topper. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. The lack of care in both the facilities and customer service was very disappointing.
