Great hotel while traveling to Bruges right before crossing the border at Slouis town. This hotel was worth it for pricing in the route rght there in a quiet location. Very friendly staff and good attendance, we have found plenty of parking space. The breakfast was included. it was the best 👌 We were expecting a more basic breakfast, but it was very good with a large variety of breads and pastries like croissants, cereals, fresh fruit, cooked bacon, sausages and tomatoes. We have 3 rooms, one of them pretty bad with cigarette 🚬 oddor👎 with lack of ventilation. I was able to run on the morning from the hotel to the border without problems.
Charming but dated hotel, definitely in need of refurbishment! The building shows signs of wear and could benefit from some modern updates to enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, we encountered an issue with the parking spots designated for charging electric vehicles, as they were occupied by non-electric cars. This was quite inconvenient and suggests a need for better enforcement of parking regulations. Despite these issues, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay, providing excellent service with a friendly attitude. Their efforts significantly improved our overall experience, making our stay pleasant despite the outdated facilities and parking challenges.
Old and outdated rooms with little comfort. The worst was that several of the “clean” plates still had food stains on them. Quality of the breakfast is less than basic. It wouldn’t be the worst if the price was reasonable, but unacceptable at this price point.
