Fletcher Hotel Restaurant de Korenbeurs

Had single room, bathroom barely usable shower included whole bathroom and part of bedroom window was rusted half closed, no airco, room will not make me come back.

I recently stayed at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Korenbeurs and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite booking a room with a double bed, we were given a room with two separate beds and no air conditioning. The ceiling fan was not working, and the only alternative offered was a small portable fan, which was completely insufficient, especially during the heat. The room was uncomfortably hot, and overall, it did not reflect the standard expected for the price we paid – €204 for one night including dinner and parking. Additionally, we were offered a three-course menu, but no explanation or clear information was given about what was included in that menu. We assumed we could choose from the restaurant’s normal options. However, upon checkout, we were surprised with an additional charge because the meals we ordered were apparently not part of the menu package – though this was never explained to us.

The only positive things are price and location. Staff are nit kind or helpful, rooms are old, taking a lot of noise from up and outside, the floor is not carpet, room is cold, the towels are thin. Thanks god we did not stay long. Surprised how they did get 4 stars.
