Fantastic location, nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfasts. The hotel, however, requires a new coat of paint and some minor corrections.
First of all, it's way too expensive for a room. We took a room with a view of the sand dun. The view is straight onto the grass mound. No sand in sight. So when we got the key and were going to the room, there was already someone living there. So then we had to go down the stairs again to try to communicate to the guy behind the reception that someone was living there. (he didn't speak English). The lift was out of order too. When we got the room, it wasn't pretty at all. Looked very worn out. The towel was worn out too. no ventilation, so had to keep the window open all the time. Extremely noisy. Could hear the neighbour talking. The doors slammed shut so you jumped every time someone went in and out. Not ideal to have a dog here. This hotel should have refurbished and not least lowered the price of the room. Can't charge more for something you DON'T get. The restaurant is absolutely superb, absolutely fantastic food and service. When we were going to check out. There was a guy there, but not interested in helping us. So we just travelled! Steer clear for accommodation!
We booked for one night . 155€ the night the room is not well taken care of. Furniture dirty and old. The bathroom not cleaned properly. We asked if it could be cleaned, the staff told us that it is just old sorry.
