Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Zevenbergen Moerdijk

A reasonable hotel in quite a nice, quiet location about 10 minutes' walk from the pretty town of Zevenbergen. I stayed for 3 nights as part of a coach group. Rooms were mostly keen, but one of the cups in our room was dirty and had not been replaced (they are disposable cups). Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar had a decent selection of drinks. The main problem was with dinner service in the evenings. Food was nicely presented and tasty, but it took 2 1/2 hours to complete the meal on all 3 evenings with long waits before each course even though we had ordered the previous day and had a set seating time. As a vegetarian, the only thing I was served which contained any protein was a very small scoop of ice cream on top of my fruit salad on the final night. Those who ate meat or fish, of course, did not have this problem although for them the vegetables were tiny pieces artfully arranged around the plate and a dish of french fries on the side, so still not very nutritious.

The "luxury double rooms" are poorly cleaned. The bed sheets have multiple different colored stains, there are pubic hairs on the shower head and there is a general lack of cleaning. The staff is quite friendly and the breakfast buffet is decent. Beds are very comfortable. Walls are like paper. Would not visit again.

Though the hotel itself was good, the restaurant service was absolutely ridiculous. The words piss up and brewery spring to mind and the staff didn't have a clue what was going on. We Were not,told we had to book a table for evening meals. Personally speaking I wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy. would give it a big fat ZERO for a review. Reminds me of a comedy film and a horror film combined.also I think the hotel generally don't like the British!!!. Will not be returning here if you paid me
