Stayed here for some quiet and relaxing days. Enjoyed hiking around this area. Big and clean room. Great view from the bed of wide meadow and forest behind. Love waking up to this view. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Less point is that the light switch above the bed is too bright when you want to sleep. I had to cover it to dim the light. For the rest, good service and helpful staff.

Stayed here for just one night, and I would have been disappointed if I stayed for several. Booked a “luxury” room. The beds were very uncomfortable. The doubles are two beds pushed together, and they move a lot. Not only does the frame part move a lot, the mattress top slides around as you’re sleeping. You WILL sink into the middle unless you want to sleep right against the edge. Do not expect to cuddle without sinking if you’re with someone. And I hate the (what I call) half blankets personally. There is a switch above your head on the headboard that controls the lights, and the light from that does NOT shut off ever. It is pretty bright right in front of your face when you’re sleeping on your back. Made tea in the kettle in the room, and it tasted AWFUL for us. Not sure if it’s the water in that room, the kettle, or the tea. There were no shampoos or conditioners provided in the room. Just a body wash type in the shower. Our phone did not work in the room so we couldn’t order any room service. If it matters to you, the TV is small and far away. There is no shower curtain or door. The breakfast was very mediocre, and if I had paid for that more than one day I would have been very upset. The good things? Location was where I needed it, the area was quiet which was very nice, and reception was friendly. It’s just a bed to sleep in for a night and not much else.

We booked a room online with two beds but were given a room with only one double bed (two single beds pushed together). When we asked reception if we could switch to a room with two separate beds, they told us the listing online was incorrect. Additionally, there the telephone wasn’t working, so we needed to go to reception to order room service. For a hotel advertised as 4 stars, we expected better.
