We had a wonderful stay at Fleur de Chine. The tatami rooms at the end of the hall have 2 exposures with beautiful lake and mountain views. The food at the buffet had enough variety for everyone in our party during our 3 night stay. The hotel employees were all very attentive and helpful. The pool area was relaxing for my mom and also a lot of fun for my nephew and niece. They provide pajamas in the room that are really comfortable and cute (you can buy them in the gift shop!) and give you flip flops that you can keep. The hotel location is great if you’re looking for a resort experience - it has its own bus stop and is about a 3km walk to town along the lake path.
This hotel is definitely one of the best hotels in Taiwan. The shuttle is convenient and we can come and visit Sun Moon Lake without need of renting a car. There are many kids friendly facilities that our kid loves a lot. We bookee the premium room with access to 雲水行政酒廊 where we come for our lunch, afternoon tea, and 宵夜 which are all awesome. The view of the room is glorious. I would definitely recommend it to everyone (both good for couple or family with kids).
Our family, including my mom and children (ages 8 and 15), had an unforgettable stay at this remarkable hotel by Sun Moon Lake. The sustainability initiatives were a highlight, engaging all of us in meaningful ways. At Fleur de Chine Hotel Sun Moon Lake, the lobby features an innovative ecosystem display. This installation integrates wires connected to living moss, which remarkably translate the moss’s condition into audible signals. When the moss requires water, the system emits a distinct sound, effectively giving a voice to the plant’s needs. We participated in a guided “sustainable stories” tour around the hotel property, led by the knowledgeable and friendly staff - Mr. Blue l, listening to the voice of moss and even created a small ecosystem garden—an enriching experience for me! The views of Sun Moon Lake are absolutely breathtaking, and having a hot spring in our room was a luxurious treat. The breakfast (7 AM–12 PM) and dinner buffets offered an impressive variety, catering to every taste with fresh, delicious options. The staff’s warmth and the hotel’s eco-conscious approach made this a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend for families seeking both relaxation and purposeful activities!
