Fleur de Loire

This hotel is gorgeous and elegant. Staff is helpful and pleasant. We had two nights here while biking the Loire Valley, and we loved it. All four in our party would have extended our stay if we could have. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Staff was very helpful with housing and charging our e-bikes. Pool is lovely. We did not try the restaurant, but we did order food in the bar. I would not recommend this. The bartender was great, but he was also servicing outdoor guests and room service. And the kitchen was very slow. Burgers took over an hour, pasta bolognese had no sauce and no additional sauce was available (but they did remove it from our bill). Below average dining in the bar for a hotel of this caliber. Rooms are large and beautifully furnished and linens are superb. Highly recommend.

This location has something special. On the banks of the Loire with a view of the town of Blois. A historic building transformed into a haven of relaxation and enjoyment. Beautiful and tidy rooms. Beautiful building. Private vegetable garden. Breakfast overlooking the Loire. Friendly people. Delicious food. Tasty cocktails. The spa and wellness center are beautifully designed. We wish you much success in the future, and if we return to this region for a holiday, we'll already know our hotel.

Fleur de Loire is a modern, beautifully designed, and luxurious hotel. We stayed in the Prestige room, which was spacious, extremely comfortable, and spotless. While the room was excellent, the view of the Loire River is somewhat limited; for a better view, the Duplex Suite would likely be a better option. We traveled in April with our 6- and 3-year-old children. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring the Loire Valley, with most major castles within a 30–60 minute drive. However, the hotel is clearly more suited for adults seeking a peaceful spa retreat. Although we were allowed access to the indoor pool, the noise from young children did not align well with the calm atmosphere expected by other guests, which made us feel a bit out of place. The food and drinks are exceptional, but the menus are geared towards adult tastes, with limited options for young children. We also encountered difficulties arranging babysitting services due to communication issues and limited availability. Despite these challenges, Fleur de Loire remains a stunning property with an excellent location. Highly recommended for couples or families with older children.
