Flom Boutique Hotel was a very enjoyable stay for our family of 5 travelling from Canada. Hotel rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and you need that when staying during the summer months. The buffet breakfast was excellent - many options and everything made fresh. Great way to begin the day. The staff were super friendly and very helpful - Andrew was very helpful with recommendations of places to eat and things to see. We enjoyed our stay - thank you!
Flom Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to enjoy Florence. We were looking for a comfortable place to sleep that was close to tourist attractions and this was perfect for my wife, 3 kids and I. The beds were extremely comfortable, we needed alarms to wake up after busy days. The air conditioning worked perfectly and you need that when staying during the summer months. The buffet breakfast was perfect with options to bring plenty of happiness to a tourist looking for local tastes or something standard. The location was perfect. Easy to get to from the train station that we had travelled from Rome even with 5 bags of luggage of various sizes(though some bumpy pathways, it was still relatively easy). Importantly we were a comfortable walk to all the tourist attractions that we really wanted to see including the Piazzale Michelangelo where you want to visit to see the sunset. There was no issues for us walking home late that night. The staff were super friendly with no issues. There is some construction work on the street whilst we were there which made it a challenge to get to places with a pram but not impossible. We could see Brunelleschi's Dome from our window which was an amazing view of the spiritual heart of Florence. It would not be viewable from all rooms. It really was the perfect place to enjoy Florence.
We spent 2 nights here during our 11 day stay in Italy. It was easily walkable to the main sites. The hotel looks like it had been recently renovated. Our party of 6 had 2 rooms. One of our rooms had a balcony that was very roomy. It was a typical boutique hotel that provided breakfast.
